Through an urge to show how women contribute to graphic design, this project intends to celebrate their work while creating awareness about gender inequality in this discipline and profession.
Design Like Her focuses mainly on creating awareness about gender inequality in the discipline of graphic design.
It educates and informs the public while exploring society’s view regarding women as graphic designers; and celebrating women’s work by showing how they contribute to this profession.
Besides that, Design Like Her aims to encourage female graphic designers to reflect on their paths as professionals and make them realize there is still a long path to go until female practitioners are as much recognized as male.
